"A beautiful little restaurant tucked away in Orvieto with a pretty lit outdoor seating area at night perfect for smaller groups of people. Delicious pizzas; the mattonella with Gorgonzola and pears was amazing, and all pizza sizes are perfect for one diner. Prompt service and excellent prices!"

"I had the salmon pizza, Pizza Diavola, and tiramisu — everything was just great! The pizzas were flavorful with perfect crusts, and the tiramisu was a delicious finish. Friendly service and a nice atmosphere made it a great dining experience."

"We originally came to Charlie’s looking for pizza but accidentally arrived too early to get pizza. Regardless it was amazing, the vegetable soup was perfect for a cold day. My sister who has celiac, often making it difficult to find an enjoyable dining experience, was met with many options on the menu. She was even given gluten free crackers as an alternative for the bread the rest of us were given. We had many restrictions in our party aside from the celiac, including nut allergies and a vegetarian diet, all of which were accommodated to. The wine and espresso were both amazing and had great flavor. The service was excellent and our server was patient with us, providing us insight on the menu in English. This is most definitely somewhere I would recommend."

"We came across Charlie’s earlier in the day and were slightly disappointed we hadn’t found this restaurant sooner. Later in the day, we arrived at another restaurant where we had reserved a table but had to walk away as we were told our family of 5 would need to sit separately. We thought we would try to get into Charlie’s… we arrived and the lovely gentleman found us a table. The atmosphere was lovely with tables well spaced between other customers, the eating area was lit by soft lighting adding to the atmosphere. Staff were warm and welcoming. Service was excellent. Good was wonderful. It was a fabulous meal for our final night in Orvieto. So glad we came across your beautiful establishment. It comes highly recommended. Thank you!"

"This place was recommended by our Airbnb host. It was the best meal of our trip. The service was excellent. I have Celiac and need to eat gluten free. Staff was very knowledgeable about gluten free foods and took good care of us. The food was delicious. Would definitely recommend! If I’m ever back in Orvieto, my husband and I will be back for sure!"

"Visited in March with a friend, and we didn't have a reservation on a very busy Saturday night. They were so welcoming and generous. They moved around some tables and made room for us. I ordered their duck papardelle, my friend ordered the boar, they were both divine, I wish I could have had seconds! I made sure to return this summer for lunch with my family on a day trip to Orvieto. The lunch menu does not have the full Charlie Pizza menu. It is a menu for the Trattoria Delli Poggi (you can find it online; their kitchen menu), which, to my delight, had the duck on the menu. My husband ordered the rabbit porchetta, and our boys shared a pizza. We all left with clean plates and full stomachs."
